Hi there!

feeeew, the new site is up!

It’s looks good, even if we are still missing some images: the whole site has been totally re-adapted and the conversion process of all images (espacially song’s covers) takes a long time, so in order to avoid any problem, we closed temporary the admin section so nobody for the moment will try to change a cover because it would’nt have been displayed yet.

If you think some pages or info have disapeared, it’s normal, they will come soon too.

We keep you updated about the work in progress Don’t be afraid to ask, comment, share on this blog.

Just as said BOB, stay calm we just migrate this night to the next version of mx3. A version with shorten URLs, big images, a great new audio and video player for tabletts and desktop…

BUT because we just migrate there are still images, covers, pages and features missing. We are working hard on it to fix and solve main of your issues in a reasonable time.

OUR ADVICE:  don’t try to change anything in your admin section for the moment.

We will inform you on this blog when it’s time to upload new stuff.

For the moment just enjoy some music of all genres, see great videos and have a drink!

The new version of Mx3 allows you (finally…:-) to navigate per genre. Start your musical journey by selecting your favourite style on the home page and you’ll discover the new on airs, great selections, last registered bands, uploaded singles and much more… all related to the style of music you selected! Isn’t it a gas?!?!?!

What will be your new artist URL on Mx3?

Dear Musicians, Some of you asked about the new artists’ URLs on Mx3. First of all, your old URL will still work (e.g. www.mx3.ch/artist/YOURNAME), so if you’ve printed 1’000 business cards with your Mx3 address on it you don’t need to worry, it’ll be fine like that, as it will be automatically forwarded to your new URL. With the launch of the new Mx3, we’ve decided to shorten the URLs for them to be as easy as possible to remember! How will you new address be like starting from April 22? mx3.ch/YOURNAME ! If you have any question, we’re here to help, so don’t hesitate!

You’re a bit lost in the layout and can’t find  pages or features that you used to enjoy previously? DON’T WORRY! ;-)

Nothing that was there has been thrown away!

The new website will feature all pages that were part of the previous Mx3 and offer even more!

We just decided to migrate gradually. We hope you’ll understand… the reason is simple: The website is huge and our team is not…:-) So in order to be able to test thoroughly before switching  and transferring data, we adopted a step by step policy, rather than moving the whole lot.

Some modifications, features and pages are yet to come, but will be made available soon!

The new Mx3 player doesn’t care if you feed it audio or video files… you know that already, don’t you?

But there’s more… the mini-player on the top right may be small but it’s also very smart.

First of all your playback history is updated live and you can skip back and forth between the titles you listened to.

If you click on a video and start watching it but then decide to navigate away from the page, your player will keep on playing the music back to you and if you get back to the video page you’ll be able to carry on watching from the right spot!!!
